What if the charging cable gets stuck in the charger?

Modified on Sun, 26 Oct at 3:28 PM

In rare cases where the cable won’t release, advice is not to force it.

Instead, push the cable connector more firmly into the station, then attempt to disconnect again in Woltti App. If that fails, reconnect the cable to the car and start a new charging session, then stop it and unplug as usual.

For DC fast chargers, remember the car locks the cable – use the vehicle’s interface or unlock mechanism to release it after stopping the session.

If the cable remains stuck after these steps, you can try using the Smart Assistant -tool to unlock the cable, or report the issue via the Woltti App (“Technical support”) so that support can assist.
